The Beginner’s Guide to League of Legends

League of Legends, a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (or MOBA) game is now available. The player controls a single character out of three different options to fight against another team. It’s a team-based five-on-five strategy game. The idea is simple to eliminate the enemy’s base before they destroy your own. There are 2 bases on both sides of the map. There are 3 ways to get into the enemy’s base. You have the ability to control the river that flows through the middle of map, and be able to utilize turrets to help your squad win the battle.

While this is a simplified explanation, it provides a clear idea of what LoL is about. I’d like to explain more.

What’s the current game’s Style?

I’m going tell you the factors that make LoL so enjoyable. This is more than just the mechanics of LoL. It’s not about the way it plays like other games, it’s about the reason this one stands out and is unique.

Let’s first say that the game has grown from its beginnings as an “mod” of Warcraft 3. The players were fascinated by the game’s gameplay mechanics the mod and League of Legends was created shortly after. LoL’s original creator has left the company. The rights were sold to Riot Games who currently runs League of Legends.

The idea of MOBA games has been around for quite a while, however this game was responsible for bringing it into the mainstream. There are a variety of MOBA games on the market but none are as good as LoL in terms of both popularity and content.

Many League of Legends players are well-versed in the terms used by gamers. A lot of the terms used in League of Legends are familiar to people who played FPS games like Counter-Strike or Call of Duty. LoL is simple to master since there is no complex control game system. Anyone who has played FPS games can do it.

You can purchase various items for your character to aid them in battle. You also get levels and gold which increase the strength of your character. Certain characters are more complicated than others. Riot Games constantly updates the game, which means that characters that you play today may change tomorrow. Riot Games releases new content every few week.

The reason LoL is special is because of something called “Riot Points.” Riot points allow you to purchase things for your account such as skins (different designs of your character), boosts that help players increase their level faster and also visual upgrades for the spells you use. Skins can be purchased for any player in the game, regardless of whether it’s one of the original characters or one that Riot has created on their own. This is advantageous to players because they want to stand out from the other players in this game. Riot also gains from this because many people want to be different and be different from others. They will spend money to get that virtual currency.

This is the point I am making. I believe that this game is more complex it than you might realize. It takes some serious thought and planning if you intend to progress within this game. You are able to play on the fly but if your goal is to be among the top players out there, your strategy needs to be airtight.

It’s not Halo where you can come back quickly and immediately be back in the action. If you die in League of Legends, it requires time to restore your mana and health so that you can get back in the fight. While you’re gone companions will take care of you.

If they do not, it will be even harder to be successful because you’re at an disadvantage without your teammates.

The game requires a huge amount of teamwork, strategy and expertise to master. It is a game that can be played casually in a group, but it requires a skilled gamer’s mind to strategize the best possible moves for victory.
